I never wanted him in the first place. I never have and never will forget the way he got that penalty against us for Liverpool. Cheat. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I hate cheats and don't want them playing for my club. I guess that puts me in a minority of one.

I understand the sentiment, but probably all of our forwards have simulated to try and win penalties in the past, including most recently Mateta against Brentford. Even McArthur has done the odd swan dive in his time. I'm not advocating it, but if we only played players who never took a dive we wouldn't have a midfield or a forward line. Gallagher has it down to an art form.
