I couldn’t believe how Clyne an old fashioned right back just gave Alonzo full licence and a would of time to just put a cross in.

That is what disappoints me up to today , he didn’t do anything to prevent the cross.

It was painful to watch as a right back who played at a decent level - you were always taught to prevent and block crosses as that’s your job.

Every time I watch the goal it really could’ve been prevented. !!!!!!

Wasn’t at the game but have seen the highlights a few times and seen the match stats and it seems to have been an even game which could have gone either way. Baring in mind we played against Chelsea, the European champions, it’s seems to be another decent performance.

I’ve seen most games this season and we have been awesome 90% of the time. Had it not been for late goals and not converting our chances (Brighton x2, Arsenal, Leicester, Norwich, Chelsea all come to mind), we’d be knocking on the door for Europe. It’s fine margins. Although we had more points under RH last season, we were getting over run and outplayed most games. We’ll get the rub of the green our performances deserve soon.

I can’t believe some of the criticism PV is getting. We’re on the brink of something special. There is absolutely no way we will be anywhere near relegation. The table doesn’t currently reflect it, but we’re a top 10 side now. We’re only going one way and that is up. In PV I trust.

Following that don’t lose sight of an un marked attacker from a very tight angle put the ball through the keeper’s legs.

We were punished for three basic errors having defended so well most of the game.

Unlucky.

Maybe they scoring from a similar position that saw efforts from Zaha and Olise sneaking outside the posts, is the difference between the money-grabbers and the rest of PL?

It certainly is the difference between very good and elite players.
When we play Liverpool, City, Chelsea they seam to score from every half chance.

Not so far this season they haven't (but that might change on 14th March).

That will be the Nat Clyne playing his first game in weeks against a newly introduced sub playing for the World Champions.

No shots on target sound awful, but we had three (or four) shots that sneaked just outside the posts. Give the team credit for their effort. The same midweek at Vicarage Road is needed but would like to see Gallagher and Hughes on for Ayew and Schlupp. And Clyne certainly deserves to keep his place - an impressive game from our "veteran".

He has, PV has said in his presser that NF is out(5-6 weeks) & Wardy hasn't recovered from his knock.
