It’s this…
Guaita; Clyne, Andersen, Guehi, Mitchell; Kouyate, McArthur; Olise, Gallagher, Zaha; Edouard.

Yes. That could well work. And a pleasure to see the semi colon in action.

Because I don't rate him. Or rather, I think Gallagher is better and I'd like to see Eze play. I just think Ward, Ayew, McArthur look out of their depth against top half of the table teams. The man in question arrives half a second too late and the resulting free kicks put us under pressure we can do without.

That said, McArthur has his supporters. And against the likes of Watford and Burnley, you're right: he might do a job. But, for me, not ahead of Gallagher and Eze. Yesterday's midfield of McArthur, Kouyate, Schlupp would have been brilliant for a Championship side but all three are just too limited for where we are. Certainly as a threesome.

Jimmy Mac has been our poty so far for me. Our performances dropped of when he got injured

Like this. Don’t mind if it’s ward/clyne or Kouyate/Hughes.
Eze not ready yet.

Wow.

Macca has been arguable our best and most consistent performer for the past three seasons.

Madness.

Eze in midfield, what a disastrous choice. He isn't fit or lazy, just doesn't move unless the ball comes to him. A you prefer him to Kouyate or McArthur, who are our best midfielders, Gallagher is a loanee.

That makes for rather uncomfortable reading........

Hmmm. I have to say there are undertones of the article in evidence at Palace.

Before everyone loses their sh1t about the selection.

We were playing the 'best club in the world'.

Their 100m CF had 7 touches

We gave as good as we got

Conceded an undeserved winner

Had enough chances to have won it.

Now I know we didn't win it, nor get a shot on target, but I'm not sure Viera set the team up wrong. It kinda worked, Wilf just wasn't clinical enough.

This is true and it’s also worth noting that despite 57% possession they committed 20 fouls to our 4.
