anyway, i remember regular posts about the youth football and info on trails etc for palace - anyone got any info on it? cant seem to find anything. my boy is 9 and would like to have a go. | Isley46 Sanderstead 23 Feb 22 2.20pm |

Have your son play for a grassroots team that play in the higher leagues - the higher the better (if South London - Kent league or Surrey league) and also enquire about school district & county teams - trials for district and county probably wont be on again now until next school year starts though. Lots of scouts at district and county games - if he's good enough they will find him (if Millwall, Charlton, Chelsea, Brighton etc, etc don't get there first!)

Cheers for the reply. He plays for Croydon at the moment. I remember there used to be open days for kids doing trails at palace back in the day, maybe theyre too big to do things like that now days and just go with scouting. thanks again.
