do not trust Rotten Tomatoes. To watch the movie below (John Carter) is akin to getting waterboarded at Guantanamo.

I reckon Rotten Tomatoes gets Trolled by the corporates, to big-up a crap movie.

Nathan Carter was better.

Walked out of Star Wars 1. The Ja Ja Binks one.

Seen the 2nd one on Tv but never watched the whole of the 3rd. Do they do a highlights version?

Anyway, have any of you ever left the cinema before a film ended? What and why?

Me and a mate left King Kong (2005) after almost two hours because we'd had enough. I remember saying to him that at almost two hours in they still had to catch the ape, get him Stateside and let him climb the Empire State Building. We agreed that a cold beer was a more entertaining prospect.

I thought this film was brilliant but it didn't even make its money back in the cinema. So all pretty subjective:

Thanks for the heads up, watched this today, superb...

You're asking me what it's all about, and I can't tell you because I don't know what's going on myself.

You reminded me. Ja Ja Binks, and the only film I got up and left.

Binks character ruined the film and franchise for me. Never watched another Star Wars prequel or sequel. Star Wars, Empire and Return of the Jedi are the only ones I've watched in their entirety.

What about those stupid furry creatures in the 3rd movie. So we are supposed to believe that a tyrannical regime that has wiped out entire well armed armies and oppressed many planets is defeated by a bunch of fur balls.

I was never a fan of the franchise but that did it for me.

watched this again only a couple of days ago.
gritty, enjoyed it also on first viewing but theres quite a few films Ive returned to, that I didnt appreciate when I was younger / initially watched, but liked on revisiting.
Easy Rider , midnight cowboy , performance & blow up being a few.

Years back we went to a double showing of Friday 13th & Jaws in 3D, glasses dished out were the disposable cardboard ones but not convinced flash spex would have made any difference. 30 mins in & the 3D effect gave us both mad headaches

What the more recent one(2011) or the Mark Wahlberg (2001)version? because I think the recent ones were pretty good.

I seem to recall walking out of a showing of The Wild Bunch at a university film night.

I have never watched it since and don't know what I'd make of it now.
