So many from different walks of life have sent condolences and said what a good laugh he was to be around, which tells you a lot about a person. Still in shock about it. RIP.

One of his better series performances tends to be overlooked. This was in the 2005 Ashes when he took 40 wickets - 16 more than the leading England bowler. In addition he scored a battling 90 in the third test at Old Trafford, when Australia had been facing a serious first innings deficit, although England did miss two golden opportunities to dismiss him. He also took his 600th test wicket in that match.
