I'm the one who mostly cooks and she pretty much likes the menu....until she doesn't and then gets a good whinge in.

What days is she home as I'm sure she must live
with me as well

I'm sure it's a very familiar story for many.

My wife also claims to be Gluten, Dairy and Wheat 'intolerant' whatever the f**k that means.

I did suggest it may be a result of not getting enough attention for her personality or achievements in life however that did not go down too well.

I couldn't possibly guess the amount of times I have uttered the words 'I am not cooking two meals' on any given shi**y weekday in my life.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Blimey mate, I know that feeling, it’s murder with my mrs and daughter, I do the bulk of the cooking and one day they’re dieting, then they’re not, my daughters pretty fussy anyway and doesn’t like a lot of what we have, I get the right hump having to tit about sometimes doing two or three different meals or different variations of what we’re having

Indeed sir!

I didn't realise how much pent up anger I had stored away for this subject but I am going to continue regardless

I must not be the only one as well who is often asked 'what do you fancy for dinner' only to come once more to the never wavering conclusion that no matter what I say it will be of irrelevance in the final decision making and thus a perfect example of an exercise in futility.

There's also 'fad diets', unused cookbooks that clutter the gaff and maddening indecision should we indulge in a takeaway. Ramsey has no idea what a f**king kitchen nightmare is I can tell you that.

Despite all of this, the £700 odd (or whatever it is now completely forgotten) investment in a season ticket to relieve emotion by screaming with steely determination at any being who dares officiate a game at Selhurst Park these days is always a useful outlet.

You've got me chuckling with these, very good!

My mrs has not been able to answer 'what do you fancy for dinner' for as long as I've known her - generally she's happy for me to make the decision, but the inability to ever come up with a meal you want to eat is almost unbelievable.

Yes EDN!

My favourite is:

Her: What do you want for dinner?
Me: Maybe X?
Her: No, I don't fancy X.
Me: Well what do you fancy?
Her: I don't know.
Me: Well I'm no longer as hungry as I am wishing for my life to end through fire.

Spot on!!
You can also add
Her: shall we order a takeaway?
Me: thought you was dieting?
Her: I’ve already ruined it today
Me: okay, you paying?
Her: shall we see what we’ve got in the freezer
