Was known as one of the best two-footed crossers in the game.

Craig Moore.

Wasn't at Palace for long, but he was a class act. Far too good for the team we had then under Venables second time around.

That’s a good shout, he was brilliant, definitely better than another Aussie signing el tel made at that time, Craig Foster, he was awful

Emmerson Boyce, a Free Transfer signing by Iain Dowie.
He once said he hardly uses his left-foot, only to get on the bus !
He was certainly fleet of foot and strong in the tackle.
We sold Boyce to Wigan for over £1 Mill and "One size" was at the club at the same time, both signed by Paul Jewell.

A new name to me!
Furthermore I don't ever recall seeing Harry McDonald wearing the shirt.
They were probably left the club before I was born!

Not seen him mentioned yet so Cliff Jackson. Had one great year when he got moved from the wing to a central position and was comfortably the leading goal scorer in the team that won us promotion to the top division for the first time

Matt Jansen was an incredibly skilful player. On another level to those around him in the team at the time.

I don’t know why, but the name Ricky Heppelette sprang to mind the other day, he was in and out of the team when I first started going and I really liked him. But then I loved them all in my early days

Also my first keeper was Paul Hammond who I really liked for the same reason as above, even though he wasn’t the best, but I remember my mates grandad who we went with said he had the unenviable task of replacing John Jackson who I never saw play, so I was happy to go with that as an excuse to like him

Question for all you Statto's.

Records show that Ricky Heppolete did not score any 1st team goals for Palace.. Yet he did, my question is where (and its not an "own goal" and why does it not count in the stats....

Steve Lovell appointed manager of Isthmian League side Herne Bay. Assisted by his son...

Lincoln City away 1976. Game was abandoned at half time. I was there. As a double to that I saw Sorloth's only goal for us, Swansea away league cup

The two Chinese International players that joined us. Their names escape me at the moment…but remember they were incredibly dedicated, worked hard and a very good acquisition at the time.
