Awake before 5am this morning. Ridiculous. Excited, and it's only the 1/4 final.
And I'm old.... what must it be like for youngsters.
Don't care how many we win by, just win.

Nothing to be ashamed of. The day I stop getting excited or looking forward to stuff is the day you can put me in a pine box.

COYP time to roll over Fat Frank.

Have a feeling all 4 away teams in the quarter-finals will win - and that includes Everton.

Top up your half-empty glass with some Singha and enjoy the afternoon (or evening).

I too have a warm, cosy feeling of eager anticipation this Sunday morning. It's a fine day and the atmosphere at Selhurst should be crackling in the sunshine. Can't be there, but I've lined up my day so the TV can transport me as close as possible.

Hope we are lively from the start and get in front early on. We'll be leading at half-time and finish worthy winners at 3-1. For me, this game feels more important than any other so far this season.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Make sure you are on time for the telly, hopefully the Holmesdale is going to look great before the match.

Fabulous! Thanks for the heads up Mapletree. I'm really revved up for this now.

Fresh from the success of my last prediction of 0-0 against Man City (in case I haven't mentioned it since) I'm going for Palace 3 Everton 0.

Happy to have been wrong!

Firstly, I do not participate on HOL to "Get attention" and those who truly know me would scoff at the accusation that I am in any shape or form an "Attention seeker".
"Contrary as usual" - I repudiate the accusation that I am a contrarian, purposely taking an alternative viewpoint.

Secondly, I just have a 'Feeling in my water' about the score and of course I really hope that my fears are not realised.

That's ok Willo, we were comfortable in the end. But maybe you need to visit the quack with that water problem. I had one once, stung like hell! Antibiotics cleared it up.

Hell's teeth.
I never envisaged that scoreline which of course was greatly at variance with the 'Feeling in my water'.
