Yes, i like that idea, or even Ward

I like Ward, but passing the ball is not his strength. Would be poor in midfield.

Schlupp’s main strength is his pace and power but over all he is an average football player. Someone on here said the other day that he is like a wind up toy that you point in a direction and hope for the best. That is spot on for me.

How many of our other players are able to run at teams with their pace and power then? the only problem we have with him is his age and for that reason I'd pick him only as a sub to come on and run at tired teams. We need to not forget who we are as a club at this time.

He'd be no worse then Kouyate.

Eze was poor yesterday. Offered little, gave the ball away and caught in possession a couple of times. Never looked like beating his man.

Eze is fouled an awful lot, Newcastle brought him down four times when he'd changed pace and beaten his man, on all four of these occasions Newcastle were in serious trouble and it is this that needs discussing not how bad this and that player plays because for them it must be demoralizing and it has to affect their game.

The possible advantage we have now is that Eze and Olise can both run at defenders, as can Eduoard if he gets the chance, so defences have to be more selective in their fouling rather than taking it in turns to kick Wilf.

Officials are just encouraging teams to cheat, in Wilf's case the officials like to select him, we don't want the same for Eze and Olise.

I'm a huge fan of Eze, but he had a poor game on Saturday. He misplaced passes, got caught in possession and was slow on the cover. He was no worse than Wilf though who just didn't turn up, or Schlupp who looked a little lost. Hopefully back in front of a home crowd he'll shine against United.
