Sorry to see Andros Townsend's injury from our last game is a bad one - anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). At his age, it is possibly the end of his top-flight career. Wishing him a speedy recovery.

Great shame. It didn't look good on Sunday when it happened. He was clearly in a lot of pain. You have to feel for him, an ACL injury is difficult to recover from at any stage, so very unlikely he'll be able to play again at this level.

It's a huge blow to Everton and rotten luck for the guy who would have relished the challenge of helping them retain their PL status.

Best wishes Andros.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Yes, a bit of a shame. Looked serious didn't it. Hopefully, he'll get over it. The positive is that if he goes down a division he will still be with his team mates and current manager.

The Man City stunner will always be a huge highlight of his Palace career.

As above - wish him well and hope for a full recovery..

Thought it was a classy move to acknowledge the crowd as he was helped off even though he must have been in a lot of pain. Hope he makes a full recovery.

Sad news about poor Andros.

Everton haven't had much luck recently with ex-Palace players.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

I don't think Everton will ever forgive us for how much we charged them for Bolasie!!

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Didn't YB have a good game against Southampton when Ronald Koeman was the manager?
