As much as I love Joel, he does get caught out of position and isn’t the best passer of the ball. That said, he is our last remaining player from the championship team, given that Wilf left. So kudos to Joel and to Nat who has filled in superbly.

When he came back he was quite poor both fitness wise and technically. Not suprising giving his injuries and off the field antics, and if Im honest he is still a liitle suspect positionally. But he has wokred very hard to get back to nearer where he was and he has looked better under PV, like a lot of the players.
When we sold him he was brilliant. I remeber a league cup game against Southampton when they just kicked him, because he was so good.

Following Palace since 25 Feb 1978

A couple of months ago I had a post here preferring Olise & Clyne on the right. Glad to see that combo now even if Jordan A. was great on Monday.

Just spotted he's edged ahead of Wardy by one for appearances and last time out was number 300. Was that celebrated?

Can't be often a club has two players competing for the same position with a collective 599 appearances (or more) split so equally.

I remember he scored his first (and, so far, only) goal for Palace in a 4-2 away win at Reading.

Unfortunately, for Nat, he was overshadowed by a show stopping performance by one Victor Moses. After the game Neil Warnock said about Victor: "You don't get 18-year-old British players like that very often and he will go for sure."
