It was …as always a privilege to be at yesterday match and have just watched the full game back tonight our fans out sang Chelsea by 1000% throughout Our midfield in the first half gave a good account of themselves, Eze didn’t though have the chances to burst forward as on too many occasions he had his back to the Chelsea goal with few opportunities especially in the 2nd half to break forward. At the end of the day , two losses of the ball in the final Third gave Chelsea their chances , fine margins but it was still a Special day despite the loss and this team has a bright future.

I agree in part, he should not be considered as an alternative to Gallagher but as a playmaker alongside or in front of a Gallagher type player. I would love to keep Gallagher but if we can’t then we need to look for a top class engine room type player to replace him. I believe that Eze will have to get better off the ball to be successful within this team but think he can and will do that. In fact I don’t think there is room in any top team for a Rolls Royce type player any more as the game has moved on, so he will need to acknowledge that generally and work harder if he wants to go all the way to the top.
