Seeing how toothless Chelsea were it is a sorry reflection on our inability to beat them in the Cup.

Sorry to say an example of how PV's inexperience let us down by attempting to park the bus when Chelse were there for the taking.

..and in the final we would've faced Liverpool and all the officials.

Quite true, but it's better to get to the final than not.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Personally, I'm hoping Everton goes down but fear it will be Leeds. I think Burnley has turned the corner and they are probably safe for this season.

I Hope Everton goes down for two reasons. First, I'd always prefer to be rid of the team that's a greater threat to Palace (i.e. who are more likely to move upwards than be involved in a relegation battle over the long-term). However badly managed the club has been, Everton has money and resources to turn things around so if they ever do get the infrastructure right, they could improve very quickly. That makes them more competition for us (both in the table and for players) than Leeds or Burnley are likely to be in the immediate future. Second, Everton has been abjectly managed for a number of seasons, pretty much a case study of how not to run a football club. In my view, they deserve to go down for that reason, whether they do or not. Burnley's league position is punching at or above their weight. Everton punch far, far below theirs. The fact that their fans, though I respect their passion, are so bloody entitled also makes me feel rather good about the thought of them being relegated.

But I fear for Leeds and to be honest, I wouldn't miss them. I've found them really unattractive to watch; both at Elland Road and Selhurst they've provided a miserable ninety minutes of football (if you could even call it that) and their remaining fixtures are the hardest of the three. If they do go down, though, Bielsa and not Marsch should be carrying the can.

Sydenham by birth. Selhurst by the Grace of God.

I like that Burnley upset the big clubs so I want them to stay up, but when it comes to Leeds and Everton it's a toss up. I remember travelling back after Leeds scored a late equaliser (2-2) in the Championship and their fans really were a vile lot abusing all and sundry. Having said that, it would funny to see Everton go down.

Burnley I don't mind as they are a small club punching above their weight. Relegation would apparently be a financial disaster for them thanks to their new owners.

Everton, for me it's all about Lampard. I just can't warm to the guy. So I'd happily see him take Everton down and then try to climb out of the Championship.

But Leeds....fans stuck in a time warp. As horrible now as they were in the 70's. I struggle to think of anything positive about that club. So it's Leeds as my preference to go down.

Burnley back in the mix losing 1-3 at home to Villa.

Just glad its not us, this scrap is not for the nervous.

Big day for Everton today, c’mon the Leicester (never thought I’d hear myself saying that).

Out of the three to go down? Leeds. A dirty little club with equally dirty fans. Their run in is the hardest - Arsenal, Chelsea, The Weed, and Brentford - and I hope they go down so they can spend another 16 years trying to get back to the top flight,

Everton and Burnley will do just about enough to stay up.

I think and hope it will be Leeds. The Millwall of the north.

Next August if we face Everton, they have enough money to spend and recover. To be very strong after their howler of a season this time.

i prefer Burnley to stay up as they seem to be awash with debt.

Also the arrogance of Everton fans who believe themselves to be a permanent fixture in the top half of the Prem Table.

Leeds defeat today against Arsenal means they are still in big danger of the drop. More importantly it means we are now mathematically safe from the drop ourselves!

Hurrah for us! Always nice to be definitely safe. Leeds look in trouble as Everton seem to have found something. Burnley have a bit of a chance.
