Sorry if I hurt someone with my joke. Has never been my intention. Good luck and COYP.

No it's fine, it really isn't something I am precious about as it hasn't impacted my life anywhere near as badly as many others.

I was more echoing your comment insisting that constantly worrying about the Palace seems symptomatic for many us! In a way, it's not necessarily a bad thing. I think most of my own worrying, and perhaps for others, is still related to the fact we so desperately want one of our most successful stints as a club to continue and yes, there is more room or context for wild dreams now than we've previously experienced at many a time!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

This awful crap about Schlupp needs to stop, he has been magnificent for our club.

The same for Ayew.

Only disagree 95%. Yes, they have both scored some good (and important) goals, but most of the time they both are showing very little that remind me of classy PL players.

The Public House in question was the 'Rose and Crown'. I too saw Taylor and Swindlehurst in this establishment, also Paul Hammond.

Apropos the 'Conquering Hero' I believe being in a different Borough it closed earlier than the 'Rose and Crown' and clientele used to gravitate from the former to the latter.

I see Swindlehurst virtually every weekend as he drinks in the same social club as me... A really lovely man. Loves sitting and talking football. I can listen to him for hours.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!
