Villa, Everton away. Man U home for us.

Leeds away, West Ham home for them.

Doesn't matter too much...maybe it can help motivate us.

Gut feel is they'll finish above us. Hope not.

Yep, I think you are right. The abject Man Utd will suddenly become world-beaters on the last day of the season. You just watch.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

If there is a rivalry, it matters for bragging rights. I happen to think the rivalry is entirely media manufactured and taken up by younger fans cos they know no better,I am old enough to remember Charlton and that would matter far more to me.

as for Brighton, I think they should be at least a year ahead of us n that potter has been there much longer than Super pat Viera has been with us.

'- Really? Honestly? Back in the USSR,,,you don't know how lucky you are.

I'd rather finish in top (at least) 12, if not 10, this season playing the way we have done, with our new look manager, squad, brand etc. but below BHA then scrape 16th as we have done previously with BHA finishing 17th.

As much as it's difficult to admit and express, they do look very good these days but we have certainly taken a step towards looking more than stalwart relegation flirters.

I'd rather we progress as a club and look forward to the new season (as I do now) than us barely scrape by, anxious over what the future holds (as I usually do) regardless of where them mugs finish or how they are getting on.

I always worry, about everything, however this season I have genuine optimism for the future. If this summer's dealings and next season's improvements anywhere near mirror this seasons, the future is very bright indeed, I would suggest.

The rivalry with Brighton matters But only when it matters. Couldn’t give a monkeys about a couple of places mid-table.

Always hated losing to Millwall or Charlton more but neither have offered any proper competition in recent years and really enjoy the fact we’ve completely outgrown both.

If I'm honest it doesn't actually matter that much to me.. Of course I'd love to finish above them but in the cold light of day I think (I haven't looked it up so stand to be corrected) they've only finished above us once in 30 seasons (and we still went up that year after beating them in the play offs!) So let's face it we are winning on the whole are we not?!!

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

sure I'll be corrected if wrong, but I think Brighton have (so far) never finished above us in the Prem?
so it would be good to keep that going wouldnt it.
Also with a strong finish it equates to extra millions for the club in prize money.

It doesn't really matter. Our stats are almost identical to theirs, they have played the one game extra which they won.
Brighton W 11 D 14 L11
Palace W 10 D 14 L11
We have the better goal difference.
Of the London teams Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, West Hams are all above above us, and Brentford below only by one point, but having played a game extra.

We're doing fine: 10th in a season where some predicted we would be relegation candidates. On the contrarary, things are looking good.

We will be equal on points, but our goal difference could take us above them. I always look to finish above them.

I’ve never understood the rivalry to be honest and have far more loathing for Charlton and the horrid team we relegated yesterday. I also hate the bin dippers and Moan Utd, in fact there is quite a big list before Brighton.
