Everton, despite the excitable atmosphere we'll face, are very beatable.

Then, "all" we would have to do is beat Man U and in all probability we'd finish 8th.

Imagine that.

Certainly on GPW.

I'd love a top ten finish in any instance. A single figure finish for me would certainly mark a new dawn for Palace.

COYP!!!!!! Everton easily beatable, United are a joke at the moment, it's in our hands!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Sadly our poor play in the final third will let us down as it has done all season. Hopefully this will be sorted over the summer and we find that player with the necessary skills to get in to the box and poach goals.I can't see us wining at Everton although hopefully, we will probably get at least a point against Man U.

or conversely we could finish as low as 14th. Top 10 would be great, however, i'd settle for 11th if i was offered it - we are 13th today after Newcastle's win last night.

We are guaranteed to finish 8th if we win our two matches and wolves don't win away at Liverpool, and Leicester only pick up 3 points, Chelsea A, Southampton H, if we get 4 points we would finish 10th if Brighton don't Win at home to West Ham, Simples, COYP

It shows that its a game of very fine margins.

14th would feel a bit of a blow after all the good work this season.

But as others have said, 2 winnable games. If we think we are a top 10 team, now is the time to prove it!

Our tendency to let winning prospects slip and end up with 1 point
has cost us dearly. At least 6 of our drawn games should have been wins giving us 12 more points and challenging for 7th place.

As mentioned we haven't solved the problem of scoring. Our record of attempts, on and off target must be the highest in the PL.

This not helped by alternating centre-forwards. Mateta has been given a good run and is found wanting. Edouard now only a 'non impact' sub and Benteke showing his lack of interest in both us and Belgium.

So, if we manage 50 points I'll be amazed (but happy)

We should relish Man Utd being a winnable game and actually expecting a win.

Even when Liverpool fell right off in the 90s, they were never a winnable game for the likes of us.

United have been so catastrophic I just can't see it lasting but it's beautiful to watch and exist during it.

Wow! 2 wins + Wolves loss @ Liverpool = 8th place, guaranteed

It would be fascinating to know just how much this matters to the players, given that both matches are winnable. Of course, defeating us matters massively to Everton, and Goodison Park will be rocking. But Everton may play anxious football; our defense has been solid; and we've scored 7 goals against them this season.

Not quite. Leicester probably have to lose at Chelsea too

I think the effort put in by both Villa and Palace players the other day showed neither team was on the beach. I think there is too much money at stake these days to squander results at season end. I read somewhere it works out about £1.3 million extra per place so 3 spots will pay Wilfs salary for half a season!!

I think the United game has a drab draw written all over it.

I just really hope we are up for Thursday's game, to keep Everton right in trouble.
