I’m certain we are no longer relegation candidates going into next season. None of this 40 points bollocks. I really hope we go flat out for the League Cup as no one else seems to. Genuine chance for silverware and a route into Europe.

Yes, we threw points away with slack game management, but it is worth noting the string of clean sheets to see the season out. This for me is one of the most pleasing aspects of Vieira's style, we are recognised as an attacking team seeking to score goals, yet we can defend too. I was confident going into last season despite there being a tonne of uncertainties, but an in agreement here that there is a confidence to our play that's developed, as we should move beyind seeing ourselves as a relegation risk going into 22/23. Still I hope we have a good start to the season to retain momentum..

Absolutely thrilling season for me! Best season I have had in a long time! Really enjoyed it! I know we let leads slip this season but we have learned from it for other games.

I really dislike all this positivity, so often leads to disappointment. Cannot have a reasonable guess at next season until we know the ins and more importantly outs during the transfer window.
