GB news, which has much more politically diverse guests than the BBC or Sky is now kicking Sky's ass in the ratings.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

I watch the BBC voluntarily but unfortunately I think that only adds weight to your assertion.
