Yes I have just been told in last hour that we have agreed a fee of £8m for Downes & should sign in next 48hrs. Doucoure should also be announced soon. Still in for Aribo & Richard’s, a striker & RB. I’m expecting at least one of these to be a loan deal. Outgoings still expecting Luka, Butland to go & possibly Benteke all depends if we get another Striker.

That may be so for accounting purposes but budgets tend to be mentioned in terms of cash available and payments for players tend to be made over one or two years so as doombear mentioned "where is all of this cash coming from?"
