It seems too from the last poster that the possible transfer of Ronnie Edwards is falling through and yet another window looks like passing without sufficient strengthening, particularly this time no replacement for Benteke and another midfielder.
What are Parish & Freedman up to ?

Needs to be a thorough review of our transfer process, because it’s apparent it has gone wrong. Plenty of time to identify targets and back-ups.

We have some very talented players. We also have a few who should be back-ups due to age or quality but will be relying upon for 3 months. Last year Schlupp was seen as a backup utility man, he’s become a must start midfielder.

What started as a promising window has turned out painfully inadequate.

Players too expensive.

We have learned from painful experience that cost does not mean quality.

I suspect we are gritting our teeth until the youth comes through.

My opinion of Holloway dropped when I learned that he had a dream that made him feel Andre Moritz shouldn't be signed up after his contract expired following our promotion. Absolute disgrace. It's real, in case anyone hasn't heard about it:

Just hope Macca is fit soon and can be as good as before. We are so weak in midfield and if Dacoure gets injured/suspended we will have major problems :-( Perhaps a signing before 11 will still happen but I doubt it. Hopefully loans can happen after the deadline closes?

That player did nothing special not a loss at all he signed for Bolton and then they released him as well.

Plus he was on a lot of money.
