Surely we can finally end the debate about the ‘in the knows’ can’t we? Whilst the posts are sometimes interesting they’re no different from the speculation or wishful thinking posts. I think we need to replace the words ‘I am hearing’ or ‘I’ve heard’ with ‘I’d love it if we signed’ or ‘do you reckon xxx would be a good signing?’
What this years window does show us is that the club still play their cards very close to their chests and allow nothing to leak.

Clearly there is little or nothing to leak.

and that includes improving existing players and the younger they are the more chance you have of seeing improvements. I know it doesn't always happen but there are enough examples in the past to believe that players such as Olise, Eze and Guehi will continue to improve this season.

I agree, this window has proved he isn’t in the know. I find the speculation interesting but I’d prefer it if it were presented in a speculative way rather than ‘I am hearing’ etc as, whilst I try not to get my hopes up, sometimes you get sucked in by it.
The discussions are good and I love to listen to peoples views on the player and some snippets but I’d prefer not to have it presented in a ‘nudge nudge, wink wink’ kind of way. Just my opinion is all.

And....the scum sign Gilmour from Chelsea for 10mil. Well done Dougie.
