And....the scum sign Gilmour from Chelsea for 10mil. Well done Dougie.

Good for them, was s*** for Norwich last season. If we aren’t paying over the odds for players that’s not a bad thing considering there are plenty on here worried about our finances. We have kept Wilf signed a prospect, an upgrade on koyate and Richards who given time will hopefully do well and give us options. I’m happy we kept the payers linked with moves away, we have a good team and a great manager and should achieve 12th or higher and a cup run.

If gullibility leaves a different impression that indicates more about the receiver than the sender.

Can we give it a rest with the whole 'in the know' bull###t. No one is in the know apart from the guys at the club.
One another note, we have only signed one player who warrants a starting spot. The lack of ambition is worrying. I think the best we can hope for is another mid table spot if we're lucky. Hopefully plans are already in place to get a couple of players in January because if we lose a couple of players to injury we are going have to replace them with players who are not up to scratch to play in the Premier League or with players who lack the experience. I for one a very disappointed that we did not let anyone in.

Lazy to not even bring in a loan player.

The way it was worded from what Sky have reported Palace didn't even try.

Time for some of our U21s.
Gordon looks like he knows where the goal is plus he looks like grease lightning.
Surely we need someone other than Wilf who can score goals.

I suspect there are hordes of supporters who are also extremely disappointed that we never got some 'Over the line' and it is the model of plausibility that Vieira who has consistently asserted that the squad was short of some players is of the same mindset.

As I mentioned on HOL, since the Hodgson era the club have spent over £100 Mill in transfer fees and unless there was a significant departure the club were limited in their ambition.
Some of the rampant speculation was far removed from the reality.

The upside for him is that he doesn't have to pay to watch the outcome.

Look on the bright side. We could be supporting Villa or Leicester

From a neutral point of view, its my view that it’s not actually Dazzas posts that wind others up. It’s other members calling for his point of view, that’s what I think winds people up.

I think the vast majority of us understand this area of the site is designed for discussion based on what they have read/heard without any of it having any real weight.

It’s not what Dazza says that sets people against him. It’s others placing weight on his posts. If you find yourself in the club that doesn’t believe him, you’ll quickly find this forum less accommodating…which I think is a shame.

My suggestion for future windows, is for those that don’t agree/believe/trust Dazza, to avoid this one single “Dazza topic” and set one up of their own, or perhaps we could have a general discussion topic to go with the individual player topics.

In general, there are lots of options for us to still have valid conversations about Crystal Palace transfers…even if we don’t actually sign anyone after a Brentford game that PV hoped we would. Never mind! We have a good squad, players to return and I don’t believe it’s going to be the struggle some people think.

I don’t believe a word Dazza says…but I do believe this squad believes in PV and that’s way way more important for us getting results.

I’m also slightly disappointed today, I had hoped we’d sign another midfielder…but oh well. The money is saved for the next window…and maybe they will surprise us!
