Well that was a interesting 1st half. 2 things stood out for me, 1) we are really cr@p at defending high ball, actually, any balls into our box, defence, totally missing, same as last season really. 2) the understanding between Zaha & Eze really showed that 1st half, add Mitchell & Mateta into the mix & they all looked comfortable. For a while now we have not been defending crosses and set pieces well, we never seem to get to the ball first. The second half was particularly bad. No Kouyate for one and Conor missed as you would expect. Unless we tackle this problem immediately we had better adjust our expectations you would think Vieira would have this covered by now in view of the type of player he was.
