Re FFP.

I think this is an example where an Independent Regulator makes sense. Someone to hold the clubs to account.

The general perception is that most clubs do not adhere to FFP.

Add to that ( and this is my opinion ) the lack of confidence in the games authorities, EPL and EFL, to properly govern their clubs .

Football authorities continue to do things at their own pace. They are not transparent either in terms of actions being taken and rationale behind how they work. Example ; the Everton pitch invasions - it took 2 months for Everton to be charged. I was away for a month and so I may have missed the next bit, but Everton had until July 18th to respond. I haven't seen their response reported anywhere or any outcome from the FA.

I know Steve Parish doesn't support the idea of an Independent Regulator, but while the clubs and governing bodies continue to act in the way that they do, I see little alternative.

Well now, FA took their time, but, at least they have done something & quite a large fine at that. Wonder will a certain poster declare that it wasn't their fault & give you a shed loads of waffle/bollox they normanly give? Just summising.

only points deducted is a suitable penalty.
if that was 'Wall they'dve been crucified for it.
Everton were encouraged by fat frank.
