They can learn how to lose to Liverpool. Been going on a while now.

I appreciate that those who have paid hard-earned money to follow our team in Singapore and Australia will be greatly disappointed that the squad is bereft of several key players.
Hopefully the lesser known players will benefit from the whole experience.

This is such a bulls*** move by the club. I purchased tickets ages ago in the hope of being able to take my boys to watch Palace. I don't think I will bother with accommodation and travel costs now. Might as well just watch a reserve team match on YouTube. Fantastic way not to build a fanbase outside of SE25. "Who's that dad ?", "f*** knows son, he's playing for Gillingham on loan next season, don't worry about it".

As others have said absolute disgrace. No Zaha, Eze, Olise, Doucoure, Hughes….There are no restrictions on coming to Australia. We are flying down from Brisbane and staying a night. I’d urge anyone equally pissed off to write to the club, this is no way to treat supporters.

Disappointing to say the least. What is the club hoping to achieve by splitting the squad? Cannot see how it is not possible to select a team of senior players with some younger players. Sure, it's a pre-season friendly but people pay good money to see it and it is an opportunity to build the brand. We beat Man U in the last game of the season now a lot of people at the MCG will probably see us crushed.
Let's be optimistic maybe Ebiowei and Rak Sakyi will destroy them.

My friend is taking his son on the trip. He has spent a small fortune, but as he said at the time- a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet the team close up, watch some training sessions and just be part of the whole tour experience.

To say they are both ‘gutted’ hearing the squad they are taking over is an understatement. He would love to cancel the trip, but there are no grounds to get a refund- as Palace have done nothing wrong.

Rarely I criticise the club, but leaving it so late to announce such a pathetic squad is disgusting and shameful.

If some of you are rightly unhappy, spare a thought, not sure how many are aware, but there was an offer to go to Oz , Business class flights, 5 star hotels, and flying with team Melbourne to Perth, plus a couple of sweeteners, cost £20,000, ten nights, only two games, theLiverpool game on tv in Melbourne, god would I be angry

I'm flying out to Singapore today to watch the game out there. If If I remember right, I spent somewhere between £120-£150 per ticket and brought 3.
Was originally meant to be doing Australia as well. Never thought I'd say this, but delighted to have changed my mind.
I think it is an absolute disgrace. The club would have known about these potential restrictions and should have made it clear that the majority of our players were unable to go when the whole tour was announced.
Unless I am mistaken, I don't remember seeing this anywhere.
I think the club owe everyone an apology - Especially the people who paid £20,000 for the "VIP trip".
Also, I'm struggling to see the benefit of splitting the first team in half just before the start of the season.

I am interested to see Malcolm whatshisname but perhaps not Luka labouring around the pitch.
Personally, thought the whole thing was stupid in the first place. However, I feel for our Antipodean and travelling fans. You would at least expect Zaha.

My friend contacted the club this morning and explained the disappointment that a number of fans felt with the squad travelling - especially given the fact the other teams will be at full strength. He also explained how excited his son originally was to meet so many first team player.

He was told that someone would ring him back tomorrow - and the receptionist hinted he was one or many unhappy callers!

I am not and was not ever going to go see any of these tour games. However, I feel deeply for those of you who are going. It really stinks in the highest regard and I am shocked at how a club, who have always tried to treat fans with respect have let them down.

It holds fans in contempt and it makes very little or no `footballing sense` to send such a micky mouse `one toe in one toe out` squad.

It reeks of a financial decision at the cost of anything else.

Mr Parrish, for the first time I can ever think I have said this....you and the club should be ashamed of yourselves.
