I haven't Seen much of the Euros so far; my thoughts being that womens football is so far behind Mens - not necessarily in talent, but in Competition. there are a Few nations right up there in terms of quality, but waaaay more that simply aren't on the same level.

It's like the Mens world cup With Germany, Brazil, Spain and France and 32 San Marino's.

So I had no interest in watching us play in the Group stages. but thought I'd watch the 1/4s to see how we'd get on... and tbh it was like watching a Mens England game. in that we toiled in possession, and had no real impotence in the final 3rd.
Saying that, I Was surprised with the quality on display, and there were interactions/interplay that was really good to watch and that the Mens game can learn from.
Really liked the manager - She made good, decisive changes at a time we needed them, and with enough time to influence the game.

One thing was the Same though, the standard of refereeing was Shocking.

Did you fake enjoying watching the game?

Or you had something better to do……

Really enjoyed that. Great result. Great game. Great winning goal.
Women have really come on in the last couple of years.
Honestly preferred that to the England men.

Refreshing to see so many ladies and kids in the crowd really enjoying themselves. That was a real scrap against a technically gifted opponent who were pre tournament favourites and had a few key injuries before the start of the competition

I must admit that I've always 'had a thing' about Swedish female athletes. There's something about the yellow and blue kit and the blonde hair!

Similarly the Dutch...the orange kit, the blonde hair and the inevitable tallness. I'll leave someone else to mention fingers in dykes.
