To be honest, if Chelsea is serious about wanting Wilf they have endless component parts that might appeal to us to help the deal along: Gallagher, RLC, Hudson Odoi, even Broja might be of interest. And probably others, too. Like I said, if Wilf is intent on going to Chelsea it should be a fairly easy deal to put together given the multiple desirable options available to both sides. I really do think something will happen before the end of the window and possibly sooner than that. The fact that there isn't a lot of noise in the press right now suggests something is being worked out. I'm inclined to believe so. Usually, if it is just a 'rumour' being peddled you hear endlessly about it. When all goes quiet, I imagine that is because they are waiting on the 'latest' news as opposed to anything being touted. I'm also under the impression that we have a rather close 'transfer' relationship with Chelsea too so familiar discussions and calls are being made.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

No chance Chelsea are interested in zaha, already spent big money, are looking at de Jong and fofana still and have sterling, probably fake news put out by the club to draw out potential bids before he goes for nothing
