If Benteke leaves and starts scoring it will actually be quite funny but there is not a hope of that happening. He is woeful.

Stand a ball up at the far post and I genuinely don't think there's a better forward in the league. Only Crouch has scored more headers in the Premier League era. It'll be interesting to see if we look to replace with the alternative likely being that Plange hangs around for the year.

Seriously though, if Wolves pay £10 million that would be great business and we might be in a position to buy a new forward that better suits our style (i.e. hard working!)

If we get £10m for him that would be absolutely fantastic and Wolves would literally be a laughing stock. I would happily take 10k for him. I would agree with the first part of your post in his first 18 months with us but not since then. Over the last few seasons we've seen him miss plenty of sitters with his head and his inability to even control a ball at times has been almost laughable. He's a spent force and has been for some seasons now. I personally don't think it matters what style of football a team plays Benteke will still be crap.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |
