If you could bring two former players back to play at their peak to complement who would you choose:

I am going for two Andy's, Johnson and Gray

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

Ian Wright, because quite simply we need a striker to put the ball in the net on a regular basis

Connor Gallagher, we look like we’re going to seriously miss his energy….and goals from midfield

Andy's Johnson?? Not sure about that. Might be a bit too explicit for some of the younger fans.

This all day long, Wright would bang them in for us in this team, Connor without a doubt, first half of the season was superb, dropped off second half but overall I thought he was fantastic.

Wright and Bright.

According to my paper CG not named for Chelsea this pm. Bet he wishes he stayed here.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Could seriously do with two players - perhaps midfielders really. But you have to pick Wright because he didn't need much of a midfield - he just scored all the time. Then it's pretty hard to decide as each player has strengths and weaknesses. I can't help but think that we'd be miles better with Thomas in midfield and as captain. So Wright and Thomas.
An outside one to pick might be Cabaye. Can't help but think his niggly fouls and touch of skill, particularly at his peak, would be pretty good alongside Eze. Plus he had a brain and guile we don't seem to show on the pitch currently.

I think Chris Armstrong would have been better in todays football than at the time he played. Back then it was 2 upfront , now it’s often 1. No where near as good as Wrighty, but as a ‘one up front’ had the lot, pace, power, decent in the air, strong. His pace and power helps now aswell, when he’s clumping people in his local londis and running off.

I’d say wright and Gray
Or AJ and Jansen
