6 arrests doesn't mean that there were 6 involved, normally police arrest potential witnesses to get them to reveal more than they would normally do.

Or very much ‘we knew who was there, but not who did what, to what extent or what even really happened’ or something along those lines.

I have seen on FB that those arrested were security and that a women security guard was putting the boot in when he was on the ground and being held down. May not be the case but time will tell.
