Liverpool play a high pressing game. We have to vary our formation and tactics and not stick to playing up from the back throughout 90 mins.

Hopefully, we've noticed.

I meant to say slow build up from the back.

Weather forecast for Liverpool at 8.00pm on Monday is only 20 degrees so not a problem,

I'm saying nothing except that I'm not confident.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

We'll get a good 3-0 hiding.

Which would be the same score as last season, when our midfield was McArthur, Kouyate and Gallagher.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

The way people on Twitter have been going on, Aston Villa is actually our next game, everyone’s writing us off. I hope the team are not thinking the same way, we really could get hammered if they are.

But having said that, I’m writing us off as well 4-1 to them, with us getting a late consolation goal when they’ve declared

If CPFC beat Liverpool FC then the Premier League title race is over.
It will not be allowed to happen.

Liverpool press high. Can we find the quality out ball to turn them round?

Must not allow them to play their game. They should win 3-0, but if Palace rattle them early (because they are jittery about their 2-2 draw with Fulham and they are keen for 3 points), then Palace can do what Palace do. But the obvious prediction is a 3-0 loss, because I believe Man City, Arse, Tot and Liverpool are the teams to win top 4 this season by a good margin. PV is a good manager, but he isn't the greatest, yet. He can give-in to fear and be too cautious, as with our FA Cup Semi - a mistake.

Maybe, if every time we can switch quickly from defence to attack (without too many sideways and back passes to get out of our own danger area) - like Brighton and Brentford did against ManU ?

We don’t have enough on the right to cause Liverpool to worry about both sides of the pitch. Liverpool are too clever to give away possession through Ayews hold up play and offering fouls.

Olise at Selhurst gave them something else to worry about last season with Zaha.

I would play Ebiowei at some point and give him more minutes than last week ad his trickery will allow us to have more options to move between the lines.

Mateta I think needs to play as a target and hold up the play rather than conserving possession as quickly as we make it to their area.

I’m hopeful of a 2-2

Hope we are set up without Ayew and Schlupp in the starting line-up, but NO, cannot see us getting anything from the game. Except some dubious ref/VAR-decisions. 3-0 loaa.
