Andersen is a strong defender, has saved us many times and will do so many times in games to come. As much as I value his involvement, I do think he pushes his luck in one on one tussles. He hangs on to his opponent and risks giving away a free kick or penalty too many times for my liking. I was surprised the ref didn't give a penalty last night when he clearly had both arms on a Liverpool player (can't remember who). Delighted with your contribution Joachim, but we want you on the pitch not on the naughty step.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Perfect man marking from Anderson last night, sit back & soak that video in Haha! Seriously though, Andersen has stepped it up a level so far this season. He looked a bit soft last year, but no sign of that in our first two games. A real Viking

Or Hamman saying it wasn't a headbutt he "just walked into him". Unbelievable. Liverpool and media apologists have tried to partially blame the action on Anderson which is daft as it was only Nunez who actually did anything dangerously aggressive (first the late lunge from behind followed by the headbutting). Klopp's response is partly to blame for the ridiculous response from the Scousers; should I say that's the response Klopp wanted? It seems about as ridiculous as saying Andersen wanted to be headbutted. Anyway, it was a joy just to see Klopp's miserable face. I hate the arrogant pr*ck.

The only thing the media are interested in is are you Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea, or Arsenal. If not then expect no more than 10 seconds of coverage if you get a result and a brief comment about being plucky, lucky, or catching the aforementioned team on an off day.
