I, for one, certainly did not appreciate what a player we had got when he came in. A young McArthur now would be ideal alongside Doucoure.

 

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I agree with Hudsoneagle and Offthefence that we are still hopeful of resigning CG either on a loan or a permanent deal. I think Doucoure is definitely a younger upgrade on Kouyate and although he can play like an attacking CM, that isn't his best position. If we don't get CG then the club may seek an alternative or switch to a plan B with another DM, releasing Doucoure to play further forward but I don't see this as the preferred option.

It would be a great gem to find ! a 22 year old McArthur . Wonder what he would cost though . He has been great for the club .

Leicester in talks to sign Amine Hart from Schalke.

Maybe that means Soumare is on he's way to us ?
