BACK FROM THE GAME Palace were competent 1st half, never great but never troubled. Took total control from the start of the 2nd half, but didn't create a lot. Much of this was due to Oxford's serial fouling in midfield, hence all the yellows. Jeff came in and immediately raised the attacking tempo, which led quickly to the goal, nicely tucked away by OE while holding off the defender trying to foul him. Eze different class, but we never quite had the composure to create clear chances. Ayew got into the box and seemed to be fouled at least 3 times, leaving the ref no option!

I mean, he is though. Literally, that’s his position. Whether you think he’s a good one or not is your choice. No he is not! Luka can't hold the ball for a second to save his life. He is a midfielder with no holding skills whatsoever - that is why we need one as no one else in the present midfield has this skill.

Thanks Teddy, some pretty bad misses there to savour, however we are through which makes a change for this cup. Nice finish by Edouard but was that also his dreadful header earlier in the game?
