Brentford were unlucky imho they deserved to win…..wanted to attack and win. Palace on the hand so negative yet again…1 0 up to Brentford at home and we decide to try and hang on….it’s not fling Real Madrid ! Lack of any ambition and outside the first 11 lack of any depth at all. Very disappointing

I just don't get Vieria at times... Went 1-0 up and were in total control. We then decide to stick 11 behind the ball and try and defend the lead at home to Brentford... AT HOME TO BRENTFORD FFS... Awful substitutions.. Why on earth Luka gets a place in this squad I don't know. In fact not one of those substitutes did anything of any use when they came on. I'm really hoping that 2 or 3 players are coming in over-the-counter next couple of days because we really need it. Same old substitutes of Luka and Ayew.. What makes it worse is that they could easily of won it 2 or 3-1 in the end.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

1-0 up. Bring on Luka to see it out. End up lucky to get a point. The bloke is absolute garbage. He would struggle with the pace of the game in League 1. Hopefully we find a club dumb enough to take him in the next 2 days.

We invited them onto us with the negative subs. Up until then they barely had a sniff. Big plus was seeing Olise back on the pitch who with a bit more match sharpness may have scored. As hard as Ayew works Olise is another level. Eze had a relatively poor game. An even contest and we didn't really do enough to win it and Brentford lacked quality in the forward areas, but very workmanlike. Having said that we should have managed the game better and could have lost it at the end. Neither Edouard or Mateta look to be at the same level as Wilf, Olise and Eze and neither offered much, showing we need another forward. Also, hopefully we can bring in another central midfielder as all Luka seems to when he comes on is commit fouls.

What the hell was Vieira thinking for god sake, 1 :0 up 10minutes to go and he change to a back 3 talk about open the door and let then score. In the final minutes you close up defenders on and if possible catch the opposition on the break. Two points lost tonight. How the hell Toney stayed on the pitch is a joke.

Coughed up 6 points from winning positions already this season. The difference between battling it out at the top and languishing near the bottom unfortunately.

Very frustrating. Did well until the 80th and controlled the game pretty well and created chances. After the subs we were too defensive and lost any real shape or outlet. PV and the team will learn from it. Recover and go again on Saturday at Newcastle.

Wilf just been interviewed by BT Sport.. He just said how he doesn't understand why when we go 1-0 up we don't go for a second and we just sit back and defend. He's absolutely spot on.
