A luxury player who often disappears for long stretches. Has excellent ability but is never near enough the action to use it. Wilf and Olise often double marked yet Eze still can't find the space? He reminds me very much of a kid back in school days who was very skilful, yet lazy as f***, and who would never dig in when the going got tough.
It's a pity, because the ability is there. PV needs to demand more of him quite frankly.
Anyway, settle for a point and clean sheet.

Incorrect.

The best players are never active all game it's when they are needed they do it and we saw that in City game.

Eze is playing a deep play maker role what you expect him to cover every position and when he does advance players like Wilf end up slowing the play down or lose the ball.

I can tell you don't even watch the full games enjoy MOTD later on.

Blimey lanzo that’s positive from you.
Been at the sangria today

I am positive, i think we have a decent squad, i expect a couple of loans in the next window, and next year Ebiowei and Rak-Sakyi to blow everyone apart

It is days like today when you realise just how poor both our centre forwards are. Surely we can find something better in the lower leagues.

Edouard was a big hit at Celtic, just goes to show the shocking level of Scottish football these days.

So we conceded again in the dying seconds only for VAR to save us.

Just watching the women's cricket on BBC1. Hard to believe, but worse than the women's football.

Haha, yeah. Do you remember '8 touches in a game' Haaland.

That version has been forgotten about over the past week. Literally exceeded Benteke's goal record for the late 2010s in two 45 minute spells.

They would've had twelve players.

The best save of the day today was due to him.

I am all in favour of travesties, provided they benefit us....

In fact I'd like 30 more.

have to admit I am quite unsatisfied with what we're doing this season. I don't really understand what the plan is to break teams down or why the club thought it was ok that we start those full backs and Schlupp in midfield in 2022 in a possession based (ha) attacking (ha!) side. Everything looks so slow and toothless, we'll be outplayed every week if we keep this up.

Ayew, Doucouré, Guehi and Guiata worked hard and earned us what was a bit of a fortunate point. Olise looked good when he came on. Wilf went back to looking disinterested (although he was constantly tripped, stepped on, pulled and pushed with little from the ref), Eze totally off his game. If Newcastle had more quality they would have won that. As it was they looked like a £150 million Burnley with long balls, set-pieces and balls flung into the box. That will be effective though against many teams, especially when they don't have to play the diving midget. As for us we need more fight in games like this as Ayew and Cheikh can't do it alone in midfield.

I counted five attacks by us where we ran at them and they resorted to bringing us down, any of these runs could've led to a goal, our football was cultured I thought very easy on the eye compared to Newcastle, many top teams are going to struggle against them.
