People around the UK and abroad will be invited to say the words “I swear that I will pay true allegiance to your majesty, and to your heirs and successors according to law..

Thanks for the invite, but you must be off your trolley.

Didn’t expect anything else from you. Any comment on the Guardians cartoon?

By all means express your allegiance to Prince Andrew and any other scoundrel who happens along.

I owe allegiance to my country not to an individual so I wont be saying it.

Don't be so literal. You are not swearing allegiance to him as a person, but to the Crown, which in the UK is the traditional symbol of the nation.
When Americans swear allegiance to their flag, they are not swearing allegiance to a bit of cloth, but to their nation. When Christians bow to the cross, they are not bowing to a bit of wood, but to their God. Abstractions like Crown, Flag or Cross are 'sacred' symbols representing social unity.

So Andrew is an heir and successor? Need to do your homework. I will never back a nonce.
The Guardian cartoon?

So by voting Brexit, I supported a nonce! An outrageous insinuation and would like a full explanation.
Of course you have not seen any cartoon, it was in the Guardian
