This is a sickening story. He was clearly drug-addled and that tells us the harm that addiction can do. Having spent a lot of time with my two year old granddaughter during the last couple of days I find it impossible to understand how anyone can slaughter little children of that age. Disgusting bloke.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

My thoughts exactly. Only last night we were reminiscing about the fun times we had when our 2 kids were young. Expecting first grandchild in 2 weeks so this really has hit home. Shame we could not see him walk to execution

Absolutely awful, it's beyond comprehension and I mean that literally. I cannot empathise, sympathise or even begin to understand how a human being could or even would consider doing this. The claims of 'coward' are absolutely right of course but also, for me, does open up exploration into what really constitutes 'evil'. Edited by Nicholas91 (06 Oct 2022 5.06pm)

These types of attacks will always happen.....society always has a percentage of individuals capable of this and depending upon the ease of access to guns it's always tick tick. The only thing we can do is make these soft targets harder and unfortunately one of those responses means someone has to carry a gun....which of course is imperfect in itself....There are bright people who could work out exactly what systems most lowers risk. These scum will then move onto the next softest target, however you could probably protect more children this way.
