I'll patiently await the mini skirt but wasn't the original MINI born in 1959? I'm sure my Dad's friend had one in 1961. We didn’t get a car until 1964 ... it was an Anglia.

Beg your pardon ... you meant skirt not the car.

1960s was also the start of the package holiday era. Benidorm ere we come!

Also....

In 1962 a gallon of petrol (5 shillings, now 25p) was 1.63% of average weekly earnings (£799 pa = £15.37 pw)

Today a gallon of petrol is £7.54 (£1.66 x 4.54) which is 1.03% of 2021 average weekly earnings (£38,131 pa = £733.29 pw). By this measure, petrol today is cheaper than it was in 1962.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

I don’t seem to have many clocks to do now with everything being internet based, the only two I have to do in the house I hardly even notice they’re there anymore through the year

I think that applies to lots of things. I am sure that clothing is cheaper today and possibly even food. I suspect the one thing that is more expensive is housing but that is no surprise when the population increase has not been matched by house building.
