Just awful... I was quietly confident after winning our last 2 league games and our performance last week over 90 minutes was a good one.

I was going to say that we are inconsistent but the truth is we've been generally quite poor this season with last week being our first positive performance over 90 minutes all season.

Everton, Leicester (at that time they were struggling) and now Forest.. And we have not just been poor in those games we have been simply dreadful.. 3 shots on target in those 3 games.

I've been saying it for a while but there really is something not right this season. Serious investment is needed in January.

Some dead wood needs clearing out starting with Ayew and Ward. Mitchell is an absolute shadow of the player he was last season and is fast becoming a weak link.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Schlupp had a poor game but the stand out poor performace was Ebiowei. Really poor in every department, perhpas nerves or something.

Let’s play as many forward style players as possible and not have a shot on target. Including the penalty - grrr! It’s obvious that we lack a midfield to supply our forwards and yet we continue to play one central midfielder? Forrest fought the hardest and deserved it. We just ping it around at the back and give opponents the chance to regroup. The midfield was non existent today and we were to slow on the ball. Definitely a bad day at the office. But I’m annoyed as that was a loss of 3 unnecessary points due to an unbalanced team badly set up. Yes, we have points on the board but it’s close from the bottom up to us and just beyond. 6 points from a relegation place isn’t many. Hopefully we can bolster the midfield in the next transfer window and play two central midfielders?

A case of "after the Lord Mayor's Show", literally and metaphorically. Absolute s***e.

We are not as good as some make us out to be our defence is suspect with long balls over the top, they stand off and allow too much uncontested possession in the and around the box, our forwards are not goal scorers and lack vision to anticipate tap in chances in the opposition six yard box and we can’t score penalties and now we are six points away from the relegation position. I suspect PV will say we played well and were just unlucky!

Trying to look on the bright side, last week’s win and the loss today is better than two draws. But that said, we’d done the hard bit.and by the sounds of it got complacent today. 6 weeks to stew on it now…….madness!

Infuriating performance. Not taking our chances first just means we usually end up chasing a game. Forrest won't care about their ugly football as they're scrapping down the bottom and we simply had no ideas to break them down. It's games like this where Eze has to stamp more authority on the game to influence the outcome but he often struggles to get involved.

Don't know what's more a annoying Wilf missing a pen or that tw*t Yates cheating and feigning injury every few minutes.

Utterly disappointing way to enter a 6 week break. Classic Palace unfortunately after a decent display last week. Hopefully some early additions in the window to improve the current squad as a decent season is still possible.

Summed up by one number on the BBC stats "0 shots on target". That said I thought we would lose last week and win today. Let's hope we put in a hugely better performance on Boxing Day. COYP !!

Zaha had a bad afternoon and should have been replaced. Schlupp absolutely dreadful. Why on earth did PV take Eze off for Ebiowei ? Probably the worst performance I’ve seen from a substitute for some time. He’s nowhere near good enough for this level.

'Early additions' and 'Palace' are not words that go together.

It'll be last day panic buy again.

Yes fully agree, we have needed a striker for several windows now and we still do not have one and would not be surprised if we do not make any additions this next window!
