Another woeful performance against Portugal ASWELL.

Subbed in and he let 2 goals go in the Portugal match.

Ghana Twitter is angry.

Ayew is up there with Zaha for fouls won. If we were any good at free kicks it would have been handy over the last couple of seasons.
Conversely, also right up there for fouls committed - along with Luka and Zaha: all in top ten. If we could defend free kicks it would have been prudent.
Bizarre stats really.

Another day, another "let's bash Ayew" thread. Boring. The fellow puts in more effort and cover than the other three alongside him put together. Bring the likes of Eze, Zaha, and Olise on as impact subs and let's see how it pans out.

This aged terribly.

J.Ayew's world cup performance is a defensive disaster. A lot of Ghana is angry at him currently. This $2m player has lost it. You don't need my opinion, Ayew's reactions to anything that happens speaks volumes, he's frustrated with himself. When was the last time we saw Ayew shove his fist in the air? (like we supporters do) He never celebrates himself because he can't. It's over. He's been disappointed in his performance, his confidence has dropped on the ball, he's frustrated in fouling people. I'll give him my final straw in these last few Ghana matches, if he can't make it happen for his country, he won't make it happen for us.

Starting against S.Korea I think unless I have read that wrong/been misinformed!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Delivered a fantastic ball for Ghana's opening goal against South Korea. The 'in bold' statement may well become one of fantastic irony.

Oh dear, he just got another too with a delivery the goalscorer played 'with his eyebrows'. Interestingly, he's playing from the left for them.

Commentator just mentioned that the goals would be "celebrated in South London by Crystal Palace fans as he (Ayew) is very highly valued there". We should contact him to tell him he's wrong!

Two fantastic deliveries from Ayew for the two Ghana goals. Maybe Ghana's Twitterverse will be a bit quieter now.

Is this really the same Jordan Ayew that plays for us? What a transformation, playing on the left, taking free kicks taking corners, I really hope PV is watching.

I think some on here are over critical of the value he adds to the team.

Ok he is hardly a goal machine but he links up play holds the ball and dictates the pace for us and can be just as good as he is looking today
