If that Souter is half as good as that other Aussie centre back Craig Moore we had about 20 years ago then definitely sign him up!!

With the World Cup been mid season a lot of the players will still be under contract. A good pointer as to the value of the player in a team in this 5 subs competition is to see how much game time they get in the 3 group games. Interestingly apart from the central defenders Bellingham has played the most game time for England - now he would be a perfect partner for Doucoure!! Before the Iran game I quite liked the look of there number 9. Culturally not sure how he would fit.

Taremi who plies his trade for Porto.
He is now aged 30 and our club look for younger players to bolster the squad.

Sorry, the undermentioned extract from the Beeb's gossip column suggests otherwise.

"Liverpool, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Paris St-Germain want to sign 22-year-old Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus from Ajax. (Fichajes - in Spanish)"

I said it before he scored a couple of goals. I then said he was put out of our price range. I suspected this would be the case now.

If Andersen recommends and Danish attacking players, he should be politely ignored

Man of the match by a country mile, made most Prem CB's seem like Sunday League players & has only just come back from an ACL, has played 4 games this season, 3 in WC.

Mark Hughes signed him for Stoke from Dundee Utd.
A couple of years ago, Joe Barton signed him on loan for Fleetwood Town.

My guess on current price would be 10-15mil. So not cheap but we do need another centre back. I've been surprised by the amount of games Guehi and Andersen have been able to play. Total guess at price - going up I guess.

I reckon we should go for Ocuna of Argentina

Put him up front with Mateta. What a frontline

“Ocuna Mateta”

Kang-in Lee. (suggestion) SK int'l on Mallorcas books with a release ~£16m. Newcastle/Hammers interest.

SK Yonhap news wire:

Decision time approaches for S. Korea on sparkplug midfielder
DOHA -- Putting his creativity and dazzling skills on full display at the FIFA World Cup, midfielder Lee Kang-in has been South Korea's most dangerous weapon off the bench so far in Qatar.

Left footed attacking mid assist man and as with most on the SK squad - a highly intelligent footballer capable of seeing the game.

IMO he might slot in smartly a step in front of the decoure/anderson/guehi defensive triangle bringing significant organisation to the turn of play.

my one pence worth (inflation)
