With all what’s going on at the bridge, this could be our ‘easiest’ game of the next few weeks, but having said that, I still think they’ll turn us over comfortably 2-0

In our present state,we would have struggled to overcome Stevenage, let alone Chelsea, who despite their difficulties, will soundly thrash us 3-0 or worse. And the endless boring excuses will flow from PV's lips!!
Time to wake up and smell the coffee. We are heading South under PV.

Yes "In our present state" being the key. They have a tough game just 3 days before, I hope that'll be to our advantage.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

3-1 win for the Eagles with joy and laughter returning to the Holmesdale forum .

And we still need a striker

As far as I can recall we've had two away victories, against West Ham and Bournemouth, both struggling. Earlier in the season we had some commendable draws, Liverpool and Newcastle come to mind. We also had some good results at home, so I'm trying to figure out where this poor run has come from. Perhaps it's an accumulation of a thin squad, untimely injuries, and a wavering manager who can't quite get the best out of what he has at his disposal. These things, not so evident at first, do tend to build up to the point where they stare you in the face. So it's make or break time.
A loss followed by more hand wringing, and some negligible loan activity. Ultimately the players have to step up.

I think I predicted 3-0 to them and I've seen nothing to suggest we'll do better than that. Our only hope is that they're so fed up with Potter that they lose on purpose.
Will we score? is a relatively interesting question.

Lol.

Although, on reflection, some say that's effectively what the Palace players are up to at the moment.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

It's never a good time to play Chelsea! Our record against them is lamentable.

Looks like they’ll be without their new boy in any instance.

Indeed. Bet Tammy Abraham looks enticing right now.

Hate to be negative, but given our fragile confidence, wonder if we could get a lucky win even if Chelsea were to be down to the men.
Their going down to ten men is our best chance as with a full squad,we are likely to be hammered 'Tottenham' style by yet another London team.

We are likely to be hammered by anyone in our current form.

So Chelsea have injuries, tired legs on Sunday, mentally shot too.

How can we capitalize on this -
1) I hope Palace team together watched todays game in weak spots.
2) realise don’t always walk it in shoot outside of box even at 50% chance
3) run to the player with the ball, force the error ,shut down space.
4) look around you check your holding line checks the runners
5) make that killer pass work EZE,Milo step up on this
6) keep shooting & shoot some more

Forever Palace Proud
