After 60 minutes with clearly nothing going right PV was just stood there making no attempt to change anything. At that point some substitutions and change of tactics and it was still possible to rescue something from the game. Doucoure could have been pulled off as he was clearly heading for another card. A couple of minutes later he duly gets sent off and everything got even worse. Now it’s all too late subs are being thrown on

I've been watching the game on a stream and when Zaha scored after 4 mins I thought we might be in with a chance of 3 points. After the goal was disallowed (correctly) we fell apart. Anderson's OG was an awful error and he really has had an abysmal afternoon. It has been a very poor showing and it does seem that something in the club is fundamentally broken. There will be a clamour for PV to go and, although I've been supporting him during his time with us, I am inclined to join the clamour. We have some useful players in the club, but they look lost. Based on what we've witnessed this year, it will be a miracle if our beloved Palace avoid relegation this season.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |
