Vieira mentioned prior to the January 'Window' that he needed "Experience" and acquired Ahamada who had only played 26 games in the Bundesliga.
In the summer 'Window' we acquired Richards who had only played 30 games in the Bundesliga. In this 'Window' we also acquired Ebiowei who has never played any football in the top flight. On his watch we also signed Luke Plange.

The policy appears to be to acquire young players with potential whereas Vieira believes that experience is necessary.
Maybe, just maybe Vieira is totally disillusioned and has lost interest - "I'm a football manager, get me out of here" !

Just another theory however as with others, one where sufficient evidence could be gathered to support it.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Against our own defenders!

I wasn't going to post this but looking at the criticism of PV I will. I have an associate who plays golf regularly with an ex Grenwich Borough striker. So, PV is disillusioned with many of his squad as they are "coasters" was the word that was said, they are just going through the motions purely for the next paycheck. One name that was mentioned really surprised me , but I won't say who. And WZ is the only one that really cares, does a bit extra and he's leaving. That's what I was told , believe it or not, it's up to you.

So , In my opinion , we are going to have to strongly rely on teams below us to be worse than us , let’s take a look

Bournemouth - bottom 21 points, will definitely finish below us in my opinion and we have to play then at home which is a game we “should” be winning
Southampton- 19th 21 points, are showing signs of revival although still not being consistent , could we finish above them? We have to play them away, if they beat us they could well catch us
Everton- 18th 21 points playing Forest today, I just can’t see a club like Everton getting relegated, still have to play them at our place , a game we should win but can we? They could catch us
Leeds- 17th 22 points still got to play them at their place , they are a energetic side who never give up , I am certainly not confident in taking 3 points off them at their place , however they don’t seem to be consistent at all , I think we will finish above them
West Ham 16th 23 points. In a nut shell I can’t see West Ham going down , they have the players , board seem to be sticking with Moyes .. sound familiar? We still have to play them at our place, not an easy win either
They can catch us if they turn there form round. I bet there fans would rather be in our position though?
Leicester- 15th 24 points , another team totally under performing and after yesterdays result will not really be watching over their shoulders aswell, devoid of all confidence, part of me wants to say I can’t see them going down but they have lost there last 4 we still have to play them at our place , a game we shouldn’t lose, I think we will finish above them
Forest 14th- home form will keep them safe , a win today puts them above us , I think they have done really well, we still have to play them at our place last game of season, could be a massive game for us with serious pressure on , I think they will finish above us ,
Wolves 13th 27 points- have turned it around have to play them away, they will beat us and finish above us

It’s all down to us and is in our hands , we have to play all these sides, it’s in our hands but have we got the fight with viera in charge ? After our next 3 games we could be bang in the mix with no confidence at all
There are so many worse teams than us on paper , West Ham and Leicester will say the same ,
I think we will just about stay up with viera in charge and will stay up comfortably with a new manager “bounce”

Every club below us having to play us will be licking their lips and thinking 3 points or at the least, not losing.

The board aren't going to sack him when we have played only one team below us since the WC (the win against Bournemouth) and sit in 12th place with recent draws against United, Liverpool and Newcastle. I also saw a stat that we are third in the PL for cost per point this season (only behind Brentford and Brighton).

Of course I'm not enjoying the games at the moment and if someone told me Tuchel or Pochettino want the job then fine, but when you look at how hard Leeds and Saints found it to get a manager at this stage of the season I think you have to be realistic. Personally I see no signs that the players have turned on Vieira and I have no desire to see another elderly stop gap. I also think a lot of it has to do with confidence. If we could get an unexpected win from one of the next three games that would be huge (if unlikely).

You cannot get rid of eight players, one or two perhaps.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to work out who Vieira has reservations about.
His selection policies suggest he’s unsure on Luka, Jairo, Edouard and possibly Mateta, Eze and Hughes.

This may not be for their lack of effort but because he doesn’t believe they are capable of fulfilling the roles he requires.

On the other hand, Ayew and Schlupp frequently feature because he trusts them to give 100% and feels they will perform in the roles he requires better than the alternatives.

We may well be drawn into the argument at the bottom of the table and if I was the manager I would certainly feel inclined to select players I can trust and rely on.

Words of wisdom! Sadly this season is about surviving the threat of relegation and then bringing on young players like Killian Philips and finding from somewhere a striker who can convert chances in the box. No idea from where but that's Dougie's job!

Eze is second in goals scored and assists, even with his limited time on the pitch compared to Schlupp and Ayew who have 2 goals and 1 assist between them, its strange that Roy got him to England squad status, and now struggles to get in the team, it goes to show how inept, inadequate, ineffectual Vieira is.

I think few would dispute that Eze has far more natural ability than the alternatives available.
However, that in itself is not enough and even his biggest fans would surely have to acknowledge that he doesn't warrant an automatic place on current form.
He had a good 20 mins v Brentford, but otherwise has not pulled up any trees in recent months.
I'd love Eze to succeed, but at the moment I can see why his involvement is limited.
Look how hard other talented playmakers at other clubs work for 90 mins every game.
Eze has a lot of work to do to be included in their company.
