Next manager odds are normally spot on , bookies don’t take more than a bullseye on any bet with “next manager” they have sources and the fact Roy has been slashed to 5/4 within in hour speaks volumes

The bookies “sources” will be the pattern of bets that they see punters placing. If the odds on Hodgeson are falling that’ll be because that’s where punters bets are going and that could be simply be because it’s the most obvious name.

I’m in the industry I know how it works, they wouldn’t have taken more than a grand overall on the whole market yet he is pushed to 5/4 they have there sources trust me

This team is more than capable of passing and scoring, we saw that at the end of last season.

It was PV who put creative players on the pitch them asked them all to site behind the ball for 90 mins.
This is likely the most talented team we have ever had.

...but then who will oversee bringing in the next tranche of dross incapable of passing forwards, shooting, putting the ball in the back of the net?

Roy is now 10/11 with Favre in second place at 10/1.

I said as soon as I heard the news that it will be Roy or Colin.

You know those times in work when you hear about another department, or firm, what's it like to work for them and all the rest of it? I doubt Parish has a good reputation in the industry.
Hence only desperadoes would want the job. Either that or someone with a current / previous CPFC connection. Just saying.

I would rather Shaun Derry as temporary manager and if makes good progress as permanent manager, he has a heart and commands respect, that is who I want.

I keep on telling people about my organisation but they don't listen. Last one I told is now on stress leave.

Someone recently posted, "be careful what you wish for".

IMHO, I make him/her right as, although not in good position at this moment, I believe the basis is there for some good things in the future.

Whether you were in the 'Vieira In' or ..'Out' camp, I see little benefit in making a change now, when there is still a strong possibility of us staying up and, giving PV, (or a new manager then) the chance to re-group in the summer. If a stop-gap manager comes in, then we have gained nothing - IF we stay up, we will have lost a manager who I believe has real potential, given the funds and tools to do the job. NO top-top manager is likely to want to join now just to keep us in the prem. Sure, a Sam 'the man' type may do so, given his/there age and with nowt to prove!

I don't recall having been mentioned recently, is that big named managers bring in better players. We are more likely to secure the services of a decent striker and experienced midfield 'general' in the summer, with the likes of Raffa etc., at the helm, so if that is what the board have as their plan then I personally decision. however, if it was a panic move, then we should have been careful what we wished for!

Sad day but, life and Palace go on ! COYP

Doesn't look good does it ?

PV's song was over. We need somebody older , with a long CV and some overseas experience. Defo not Lampard, Rooney or any other fellas without many managerial accolades.

i would be delighted if Croydon Roy came back. Survival is more important than entertaining football.

There are unconfirmed reports of Christian Benteke seen wandering the streets with a placard bearing the legend "See, it wasn't me. Told you so!" Betting companies have slashed Benteke's managerial odds from 100000/1 to 25/1 accordingly.
