Tino Livramento from Southampton. He has missed the whole of the last season with a cruciate rupture. Horror injury. Might need until January to get back into full contact, but a cheeky 7-8mil plus add-ons might be enough.

He’s from Roundshaw.

Showed a bit of class last season for Southampton.

Or does this feel a bit to similar to Nathan Ferguson???

I’ll correct myself. He came on for Southampton in their last game. So has obviously recovered sufficiently which is a great sign for him. His energy if he could recover the form he showed before his injury would be amazing for us.

Have to say DC I’m not a fan there.

I can see some of the assets he does possess but scoring goals ain’t one, and we’ve had plent who can be similarly described!

He's scored 10 goals this season in a poor team maybe he could do a job or take a chance on Akpom

Ed Aarons of the Guardian is reporting that Lerma will sign on a free on a 4 year deal.
That move will be a good addition.

I understand the rationale behind this comment !

This reminds me of an incident in bygone days when we played Wrexham at Selhurst Park.
Jim Cannon broke the nose of striker Ian Edwards and in the bar after the game Edwards was giving Cannon a look that would have curdled cream.
Not long afterwards Ian Edwards signed for our club !

I’m going to put my best Willo head on now and say, Ian Edwards then went on to score the winning goal that kept us up in 83

Cannon was a tough character.
I recall him having a fist fight with Phil Boyer right in front of me at Selhurst during a heated exchange on the pitch many years ago.
Both players were sent off.
These days they’d probably have been given prison sentences.

Apart from Kevin Mabbutt, I’m not sure anyone we had up front in that era was ‘decent’ but compared to Langley, Brown, Mahoney, McCulloch and Aylott, he probably was decent
