On another site they had Twitter links for Palace fans. No idea who these fans are but they were ridiculous "Parish most go" "we need to spend big etc." Basically a lot of nonsense. I still suspect we will only sign 2/3 players this summer and they wont be big transfer fees. It is what it is, until someone is willing to buy out our 2 Americans we have to exist on the budget. I don't see Parish as the problem he has proved that he can run a football club successfully without borrowing large sums we can never pay back. If Sheik Yo Money does turn up and wants Parish out fair enough but if it were my money I would be asking Steve to stay and continue to run the club but on a bigger budget. Back to Twitter some fans are too young to remember the bad times and the false promises.

Our first priority in this league remains avoiding relegation In the meantime we may be tempted to cast envious eyes at those clubs that have oodles of cash to spend but at the end of the day we remain unfashionable Palace and we will buy in the bargain basement whenever we can.

Purely for fun, trnasfer fees only and not wages and based on Transermarkt valuations (which are nonsense) Sacha Boey (RB) (14m) Get rid of Mateta and Eduoard to balance the books, we'd have a terrific attack. Realistically never going to happen and most of them will be way more expensive than that. Jack Clarke might happen though and he'd be superb.

Think I will amend my original submission. 60mill, nice fantasy but prob not realistic. I long time ago I did advocate us getting Matheus Franca, and so I'd like to put him back in, so my more achievable would be: Lerma - Free _______________Johnstone

I feel like even if we had £100m to spend, we are limited to £20-£25m signings because nobody more valuable than that would be interested. In that bracket: Folarin Balogun (£20m?) might be a one-season wonder, and he has opted to play for the USA so plenty of long-haul travel there. Harrison from Leeds (£20m?) would be OK. Furuhashi (£25m) perhaps? Dembele on a free is interesting. He has a 1 in 2 record generally.
