From the Tommy Cooper thread:

"I'm a hunt sabouteur. I go out the night before and shoot the fox"

Sorry I can't be relied on for sensible debate.

You fed me, you bred me, I'll remember your name.

Snap Seth, so like you I will refer you instead to site with a clear agenda without an objective point of view! Unsurprisingly they disagree.http://www.supportfoxhunting.co.uk/anti_hunters_rubbish.shtmlEdited by deleted (25 Sep 2004 11:33pm)

Touche *** - let's just agree to disagree on this one eh? Edited by Seth (29 Sep 2004 10:36pm)

It's simple class war guys:

The Miner's Strike (where was the Countryside alliance when millions of rural miners lost their livelihood?)

Poll Tax

etc

PAYBACK!

Personally I couldn't care less but every member of the countryside alliance that I have met is a complete tosser (and as I work in politics I meet a fair few). So Sod them.

to stu 7986.
quite honestly, i wouldn't be that upset at losing my job. it would make me go out and get something i'd enjoy doing, i'm in the comfort zone.

as balham burner points out, the miners lost there jobs to the government, as has the fishing industry lost jobs due to successive governments not sticking up to our rights around our coast and telling the french and spanish to ship in their own waters.
it's life.
as you said; we all have our own opinions, stalemate it is

and it's goodnight from me.......

i find it stupid when thousands of rich plonkas from the country turned up to the Labour conference to demonstrate against Foxhunting, and only hundreds turned up to demonstrate about third world debt and unfair trade.
